When I spot potential WhatWentWrong photos I immediately exclude two types of people: poor people and obvious crackheads (or crankheads, cokeheads, or any other drug addicted person). So when I noticed that this lady's shoes looked like they'd been malled by a pit bull, I had to quickly ascertain whether or not she fit into one of the two "off limit" categories. Since we were in an Apple store and she was babysitting a laptop and conducting business on a cell phone, I determined that she wasn't poor and didn't appear to be visibly addicted to any substances. Her shoes were fair game!
Let me be blunt. Who, in any type of business, is going to take this woman seriously when her shoes look like she snatched them out of an angry animal's mouth just before putting them on her feet and walking out the door. When I coach people about being aware of the image you're projecting, this lady is a ridiculously perfect example of what I'm talking about. I mean, seriously!
not to mention, the socks appear to be cutting off circulation to her feet!
