It has been refreshingly warm in Atlanta recently. (I apologize to all my friends in Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and all those other places that are still suffering through the frozen tundra.) But for those of us who are warm or warming up, we get the chance to loosen up and not have every inch of our bodies covered in clothing.
On this particularly sunny day, I gravitated towards lighter colors like teal and khaki. It's a welcome change from all of the black and brown I've been wearing lately. I've talked about wearing colored shoes to brighten up an outfit. But why not eliminate the dark hues all together?

As I am maturing :), it is really fun incorporating colors and style into my wardrobe. Being in Georgia definitely helps (the warm weather). I have come to realize that you dont have to be traditional (black, blue and gray) all the time to be "professional." Color and style is welcomed in the office.... and its super cute!! I look forward to more ideas from you regarding color.

Thanks LOVELIFE! I am committed to proving to everyone that color in your wardrobe can be the key to taking your wardrobe from average to outstanding! Keep reading because spring is around the corner and that's when you'll really start to see the fashion color palette expand.

It's right at 5°F here in Detroit with the wind chill today. I'd like to see you try to dress cute in this type of weather ;)

LMAO! That was funny WBL! Not to toot my own horn, but after living in Minnesota and Detroit, I know something about being stylish in cold weather. I accept your challenge and I'll respond further in a future post. :o)

WBL I can attest that she did indeed always manage to look cute in temperature BELOW that which you are experiencing today.:-) To piggy back though, now that I no longer live in Detroit, I miss wearing my cute cold weather stuff. Most of my boots and sweaters and coats are a little too warm for the WA weather.

Thanks for the compliment Mo! I do try to maintain my style even when it's ridiculously cold. And I totally agree with you about missing your cold weather clothes. I haven't worn a couple of my coats in two years because they're too heavy for GA.
