ACCESSORIES: THE HUNT FOR NAVY SHOES
Recently someone lamented to me about the difficulty of finding navy shoes. I completely understand her frustration. Trying to find navy shoes is like searching for Manolos under $200. You know they exist somewhere in the world, you just can't seem to figure out where. And if you've ever been strong enough to search for navy shoes, when you discover a pair, they tend to be dowdy and just plain boring.
I love a good fashion challenge, so I decided to do a little shoe scavenger hunt to see what I could find. My first stop was Zappos.com. These sexy D'orsay pumps from Lumiani come in navy patent leather for $180.

If you don't like suede or patent leather, consider a satin option from Charles David. These sky high heels are $116.99 at shoes.com. So while it can be tricky finding a great pair of navy shoes, it's not impossible.
STYLEnosh recommendation: Don't be afraid to spend a little extra money for the perfect pair of navy heels. If you purchase a timeless pair that will take you from season to season and take care of them, you'll have them for years. Think of it as an investment in your wardrobe.
