WEAR OR RETURN: SHOULD I KEEP THESE GRAY SUEDE SLINGBACKS?

 

So I've been coveting a pair of gray pumps for about....hmmm....10 years! I've always thought of gray heels as a definitive sign of chicness. I don't know what it is about them. It may be the allure that's generated by unexpected color of gray. The problem is that I've rarely come across a pair that's stylish, sexy, and under $500. 

Then I spotted this sleek pair at Belk's (a department found in the South recently bought out Parisian's). They were only $41. The problem is I didn't envision that my perfect pair of gray pumps would be open-toed and slingbacks. I think I prefer a closed-toe high heel pump.

What do you think? Should I wear them or return them?

*UPDATE* I added the pic with me actually wearing the shoes. After seeing them on, does it change your original assessment of Wear or Return?

if those are not how you have imagined your gray pumps, you will not love them and feel sexy in them. hold out until you find the right pair. i say return.

As long as the $41 is within your fiscally responsible zone...then keep em!:-)I don't want to hear about ramen noodles for a $41 pair of shoes...

Return!! Slingbacks, with an open toe, and the shape of the sole in front...just not working!! I am with you on the quest for a perfect pair of gray shoes too, so if you find something, let me know.:-)

We are not fans of open toe suede shoes,they are inexpensive enough to keep though.
