So I was flipping through Vogue (the March issue with Michelle Obama looking fab on the cover) and I noticed the oddest looking doll with an unusually humongous head. Turns out it was an ad for the new Target Go International McQ line by Alexander McQueen. I immediately searched for the line on the Target website. My initial response was not bad. But I can't give a definitive opinion until I see and feel the merchandise in the store.
Yesterday I made my way to Target for a few necessities and a swing through the clearance racks. This particular Target had a couple of racks of McQ by Alexander McQueen. My first impression was, "hmm, it's okay". I wasn't feeling the stretch pants and mesh sleeved tops. And I know pink is hot for spring but the pink in this collection was just a little too 80s-esque for me.
I really like this gray denim jacket pictured here. But the $59.99 price tag seems a little steep to me. I have no problem dropping money on clothes but $60 on a denim jacket is not a sound investment for my wardrobe. Most of the people who reviewed this piece seem to love it so apparently it's right for somebody. If you find yourself at Target this weekend (you know you wanna go), peruse the McQ collection and let me know what you think.
I wasn't totally impressed with this collection either. Why can't we have Isaac back???!!!

LOL Yeah, I hear you Mo. I miss Isaac too. If it's any consolation, the stuff he's doing at Liz Claiborne is super cute.
