Okay, seriously. What the heck is this? I tried to figure out what this "bathing suit" was doing or supposed to do, but I got nothing. Is the bottom missing? Or is the top too small? And more importantly, why would anyone think that this type of swimwear would be a good idea for anyplace other than the privacy of her own home? It's not the best pic but trust me, you do NOT want to see the details.
As a general rule, you don't want to show your bum on a family beach on a Saturday afternoon. I feel bad for her preteen daughter (not shown) who was with her. You know she had to be embarrassed. Reminds me of the times my mom would wear a clear blouse and a white bra. The horror! And that was in the last 10 years.
Has your mom (or dad) ever worn anything in public that made you cringe? I'm sure the girl from this sad scene and I can't be the only ones.

Now, Nosh, I want to first ask the Lord to forgive any comments that I you, or any other blog participant makes that seems unkind.
I do believe I see a line of pressure that indicates there is a bottom so since I see some sunk in cheek action, I think this is a thong.
She ought to be ashamed. I know that everybody is not going to be fine and tight, not expected, but PLEASE buy swimwear that accentuates YOUR good points. Her suit accentuates MINE!!!!! LAFF GIGGLE LAFF and I am not in Florida right now. Oh no.Oh no.

Thank you August Deed because I know I need that prayer for forgiveness. And since we're having church, Amen to the "accentuate your good points" comment. You don't have to have a slamming body, just wear something, anything, that makes your body look its absolute best. Unfortunately, that did not happen on this pic.

I'm just stunned right now...because even in a thong, that is not acceptable at a family beach!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't care if it's Gisele or Halle, still not acceptable...well not in the US anyway, Europe is a different bird. This is almost as bad as the naked drunk chick in the kiddie pool in the FRONT yard of my in-law's brooklyn neighborhood....classy!

I agree with you Mo. But wait. Did you say someone was naked and drunk in the kiddie pool IN THE FRONT YARD???? Yikes!!! That would make me refrain from future drinking. I hope no kids were traumatized from this unfortunate event.

Nosh, it was SO bad, and one guy was walking his kids down the street, and folks on the stoops started screaming, get the babies, get the babies! Mind you they were outside watching it unfold like a drive-in.
