So here's the deal: The Monday after Black Friday is officially known as Cyber Monday. Apparently people are motivated to continue their shopping from the weekend online. (It actually started a few years back when people would wait until Monday to buy online since they could use their much faster, work internet access.) Now that most of us have our own speedy internet at the home front (thank goodness!), we don't have to pillage work equipment.

If you're looking for deals today, here are some places you should check out.

AMAZON  This site is a bastion of shopping for all things. Literally, you can buy just about anything on the big A. Looking for electronics, toys, clothes? They have deals on all of that. Just try not to spend too much time shopping while at work cause big brother is definitely watching.

MACY'S  The department store doesn't hold back with discounts on cookware, coats, luggage, jewelry, etc, etc. Here's a link to the Cyber Monday sale page.

BORDER'S  Everything is Buy 1, Get 1 60% off. Use promo code BCM1219B. There's a limit of two discounted items. The sale is good today and tomorrow.

HEALTHY THANKSGIVING DINNER? COMING RIGHT UP!

Hey people! I hope you all had a phenomenal Thanksgiving. I spent the day with my sister and her family and boy did she surprise me! As many of you know, I've been eating a high raw food for about four months now. (Well it's been longer but for a while there, I didn't quite understand that eating raw eliminated the notion of pancakes for breakfast.) And while I do eat cooked meals for dinner, I wasn't sure what expect from my sister who doesn't any cooked food anymore. Here's the video she made talking about our Thanksgiving feast. Kohl's  Is going for overachieving status by opening up at 4 am. It appears that there are plenty of 60% off deals.

Bloomingdale's The Big Brown Sale is here now. Take 30-40% off select merchandise. Take 20-70% off home items. The designer handbags on sale look absolutely delicious.

Banana Republic  Is jumping out early and actually opening some BR stores on Thanksgiving day. I still can't find out what kind of deals they're offering but I'll keep you posted.

Lord & Taylor  The Thanksgiving Sale offers 15% off regular, sale, and clearance prices. The promo code is THANKS. (Grab the in-store savings pass on the website.) They're also handing out $20 gift cards (to be used on a $40 purchase) to the first 500 customers on Friday. You can even combine the gift card with the savings pass. L&T will be open at 5 am on Friday.

Liz Claiborne - Take up to 40% off of select styles. You may want to also check out the final sale section. Normally, I'm not a fan of the no exchange, no refund policy. But there seems to be a deal or two worth checking out on this site.

MACY'S BIGGEST ONE DAY SALE

Today is the preview day for Macy's Biggest One Day Sale. And Wednesday, November 18th is the actual sale. There are discounts in every department. For my cold weather friends, there are slim puffer jackets (you know, the kind that don't make you look puffy) are only $14.99. Men will find deals on dress shirts with many under $25. And of course there are specials on kids clothes too. This sale may be the catalyst of your holiday shopping.

I really wish I could walk up to this lady and tell her she's doing her body a disservice. If only I could have zoomed in to get a better shot. Well, I think you get the picture. (wink, wink) 

Luckily, this is a wonderful teachable moment. It's always a great idea to get in front of a mirror and glance over your shoulder. Since you're still at home, you'll have a chance to inject a wardrobe change before you leave the house.
