Wow, you actually keep all those extra buttons? Where do you store them? I guess I better start doing that too.

Nicole, I'm not sure if it's a good thing to keep 10 years worth of extra buttons or not. lol The blue and white floral bag in the first picture is the bag that I store the buttons in and I keep it in the bathroom with my toiletries. I also keep my sewing kit in the bag too.

The August Deed Company

Good idea. It reintroduces some pieces in your closet that have been on " injured reserve". I have a few pair of slacks that need hemming and no less that 10 shirts that need a button. I just put all my winter coats in the cleaners today and will sew missing buttons on a few on them once they are clean.

Impressive, August Deed. You took your winter coats to the dry cleaners in September? You must be extremely organized and highly efficient. After 20 minutes of button replacements, you'll be ready for winter. Thanks for motivating the rest of us to get a jump on coat season. I actually need a new coat (one that doesn't make me look like I'm wearing my big sister's old hand-me downs). lol
