Fall is my season. I love the leaves and crisp breeze. And I adore the layering of clothes. I think it's fun to transform items that you've worn in one season and give them new life in another. You'll see several of those clothes experiencing a fall rebirth in this week's wardrobe.
No, I didn't cut my hair. It's just freshly twisted. I just realized that I look bigger than I actually am on this picture. It makes sense because both the jacket and skirt are too large. And clothes that are too big have the undesirable effect of making you look big too.
I wore this sleeveless wrap dress many times throughout the summer. I decided to switch it up by adding the green wrap sweater on top. And surprisingly, I lot of people loved the combination.
We had our Thanksgiving lunch at work today so I thought I'd dress up a bit. The berry jacket was a fun addition to the beige, brown, and pink checkered pants.
THURSDAY
This basic blue v-neck sweater becomes more interesting when it's paired with a plaid shirt and gray pinstripe pants. Pattern mixing rules!
I had to post a pic of this jacket. It's a Marc by Marc Jacobs short trench hanging wonderfully on the racks at Goodwill. Price? $5.96. Woo-hoo!!! Best find of the week, people!
Well, looky here. Yes I did wear jeans to the office today. It was college spirit day and we were allowed (such a weird word to put here, right?) to wear our college gear or college colors. All of my school clothes from college and graduate school are faded and/or ratty looking. So I opted for a black bow-tie blouse from Target and my gold, cropped Tara Jarmon sweater. Can you say, "M-I-Z-Z-O-U!"
